DESCRIPTION:
The Cedarcrest High School Percussion Ensemble has been in existence since the Fall of 1999. This ensemble of 7 members performs percussion line and percussion ensemble repertoire throughout the year. In the Fall and Spring, the perucssionists march in the annual CHS Homecoming field show and spring parades. The goal of this ensemble is to offer accomplished percussionists an opportunity to form a smaller ensemble within the CHS Music Department as an auxilary ensemble (Grades/credits are not earned).
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
Every Percussion Ensemble member is a CHS Band member as well. Students audition in August of each year. Students are mandated to be year-long members who committ to year long practices and performances.
