Cedarcrest offers eight (8) accredited music courses for Arts Elective Credits (.5 Arts credits per semester; some are year-long). All classes can be found in the CHS Course Catalog.
THE AUDITION PROCESS:
1. Fill out an Audition card available in music room
2. Schedule an audition
3. Prepare materials ahead of time.
*Sing/play a-cappella (musical theatre or jazz standard)
*Show the quality of your voice/instrument as soloist and as an ensemble member.
4. Your auditions will also include sight reading, piano skills demonstration, and theory survery. Mature tone quality is paramount to the audition in addiion to a very high level of dedication.
